Blue-winged teal. Eagle Bluffs CA, Missouri.
Another experiment with a spring and using a CD as a reflective background. More experimenting to come with these! :D Enjoy!
Taken at around 12 AM in my yard. / The grass was due covered and I used an external flash to light up the background.
Gather what you will from this.. but yes, I did intend for this to look like magical sperm. Haha, it just sort of happened when I was staring at a light bulb and noticed the little spring inside… so I knew I had to do something with that. :D
There’s something very soothing and calming about these water drop/condensation shots for me. Maybe it’s the perfect symmetry of the drops or the way they look like falling rain that’s frozen in time… either way they just make my stressfulness melt away. Anyway, this is condensation on a water bottle… I shot this using my macro lens and extension tubes as well as my flash. I don’t think I had a background on this one.. just the white screen of my computer. Enjoy!
Another picture from my peacock feather series. I really enjoy the play of darks and highlights in this water droplet… it seems like a little war is being waged inside the drop… the forces of good and evil… the forces of light and dark… (I have an imaginative mind, don’t I? lol) I hope you enjoy this piece! I took this sometime in the summer in my bathroom. There was a giant spiderweb on the window so I sprayed it with water… most of it ended up on the window which is the bokeh you seen in the background. Enjoy!
A combination of fractals and digital painting. Digital painting is not as enjoyable for me as the traditional way, but it’s the one attempt that I like best. Thank you for the views and comments. :)
Created in Ultra Fractal 4. More warmth for us Northern Hemisphere’s dwellers. Thank you for the support as always. :)
I’m not quite sure if this works, so feel free to let me know what you think. Cheers. :o) “Horses In My Dreams” / P J Harvey Horses in my dreams / Like waves, like the sea / They pull out of here / They pull, they are free Rode a horse around the world / Along the tracks of a train / Broke the record, found the gold / Set myself free again I have pulled myself clear Horses in my dreams / Like waves, like the sea / On the tracks of a train / Set myself free again I have pulled myself clear
An experiment with water droplets, glitter, a CD, wrapping paper and light. I had some metallic paper reflecting in the CD and the flash from my camera made it very interesting with all the glitter. This is the kind of thing I do when it’s too cold to go outside…. haha. Enjoy!
