Just a little poem I wrote for my piece Tea Time / No big deal….lol. ...
Luck runs out of my spout
For the six words group this is my contribution after passing over “deal in jeapordy spots and leopardy”, “lost a deal not a steal” and in frustration “please drop dead or give head” which must make a nasty t-shirt at some point. Basically though; born out of the frustration of a deal starting to look like its on the edge of a non-starter after lots of time and effort. / That said the six words have an open interpretation, could be good luck or bad luck and running out of one’s spout could be both a good thing or a bad thing again depending on which type of luck and whether its giving or simply pouring away. Also depends on whats your spout? Price is high to compensate for lack of income on deal gone awry. Please buy at least two copies of everything.

You have become the honey / I long for with each drop, / You pour your love all over me / I savour it… don’t stop.

This is a continuation and a response to my friend Iris hilarious piece Princessleah’s and Iris’s Brownies which came about after she read and made a comment on my piece Cryptic Gremlins . She made a comment that she did not like brownies and I explained to her these were special brownies a friend told me about, laced or cooked with Marijiuna. For the record, I have never had them and never tried them but I wrote Cryptic Gremlins thinking this is how I would react, if I were high. A crazy Alice in Wonderland world. Anyway, Iris made a joke saying wouldn’t it be funny if we had a Tea party with these brownies and I said that WOULD be funny. She wrote “Princessleah’s and Irir’s Brownies”. This is my response to her wonderful piece…..Let the madness continue!!! This is dedicated to you, Iris….my RB sista!!! Featured in Creative Writing & Poetry – 5th Dec / 2009 This is a series of wacky pieces I’ve written poking fun at the much loved characters of our childhood. The other pieces in this series are: The Mad Hatter’s Ball / A Nightmare on Sesame Street / When Superheroes go Wild
Orange Pekoe tea / With spoonfuls of brown sugar / Tall slender glasses / Sudden sand dune storms and flies / I taste the Sinai desert
A wonderful trip it was, to the Sinai desert in Egypt, just over the border of Israel. / I had found a place where the locals seemed to appreciate hot tea throughout the day, as I always have. I normally drink my tea straight, but I will sometimes sweeten it with sugar to remind me of the Sinai and my memorable time there.. / That visit was many years ago… maybe 13, or 14… but this taste still conjures up memories of that time.
