The road to cloud nine, where our new attitude energy is supposed to come from.
All things originate from Io Matua Kore “Io the parentless one”. / Io is the beginning and end of all things, the creator of heaven / and earth. My Guardian Angel A counterpart to the two series My Shadow and Me and The Animal in Me View large please This is a composite. First image is almost untouthced and created with long exposure with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS. For the image on the main layer I try to keep the Photoshop-work to a minimum to not loose the ethereal energy the method some times captures. The crawlers cover the floor in the red ochre corridor. / For my second sight of people, theyve more lifeblood than before. / Theyre moving in time to a heavy wooden door, / Where the needles eye is winking, closing in on the poor. / The carpet crawlers heed their callers: / Weve got to get in to get out / Weve got to get in to get out / Weve got to get in to get out. This image was taken about 10 days after severe thunderstorms in Paris at the end of 1999. There had been debris scattered all over the Champs de Mars, but once they’d cleaned everthing up, it looked almost too tidy. It was taken at approximately midday, and eerily, there was no one around.
Te Anau, South Island, New Zealand Taken the same morning as Misty Morning Moments – just another shot which I think captures the magic and the stillness of the lake mist. Other New Zealand pics Other water pics Other sky pics Other landscape pics
Did you have a sacred space when you were younger that you would get in trouble for visiting in the event you got caught? Mine happened to be the middle of a large Iris garden planted accross the lane from a large Hawthorn tree. I would lay in the middle of that Iris patch and look up at the sky and the flowers above me, and my grandmother would give me the devil every time she caught me there. I’d also like to give friend and fellow Artist Ely Pares acknowledgement for her help, support, and friendship in completing this project. / This is a large scale painting on panel 24×36

Te Anau is a small town next to a large lake in Southern New Zealand. This icy sunrise was beautiful, the mist rising off the lake, snow capped mountains and a setting moon. The red boat was just in the right place for contrast. / Nikon D300, 18-200mm lens at 18mm / 1/640s F/3.5
This pou is on the summit of Mount Hikurangi, the sacred mountain of the East Coast, Ngati Porou people. Also the resting place of Maui’s canoe. Carved by the master, Derek Lardelli. The carvings were commissioned to celebrate the milenium. Mt Hikurangi is the first place to see the sun. . .
Te Anau, New Zealand I was lucky enough to spend my honeymoon in New Zealand, touring around in a campervan. Whilst at Te Anau, I woke early one morning and took a stroll down to the lake, to find it totally shrouded in mist, floating quietly about 1 metre above the surface of the water. It seemed like I was the only person in the whole world for about half an hour or so, except for this little man just going about his business (but in a respectfully quiet fashion!).
