I took this in Feb 2007 in Lower Manhatten. The colour jiggery pokery was done in Dec 07 and since then it’s started to attract some attention. I think the picture captures the iconic nature of the New York cab and also gives a decent impression how cold that place can get in February
The main streets of Cairo become a hive of activity in anticipation for the celebrations at the end of Ramadan.
Taxi Driver poster. Travis Bickle might be a little paranoid & unstable, he’s still a fucking good guy.

Ikebukuro is, after Shibuya and Shinjuku, one of the busiest spots in Tokyo. At night the opportunities for photography are everywhere. But it can be overwhelming sometimes. I usually choose to stay in one place for a while and let the action unfold, rather than to always be hunting for it. Nikon D300 / 85mm f/1.4 AF D

This shot was the main centre-spread of a feature I recently had published in Tokyo’s ‘Metropolis’ magazine. It has also featured recently in mags in Australia, Singapore and Poland. To beging with the guy hanging out of the window spotted me and then just wouldnt lean out again. I attached my camera to a 10ft monopod, put a cable-release on and held the camera out with an 11mm lens on it. He thought I had walked off and I still got exactly the angle I wanted….
So this passed weekend I was taking some photos of this restored B-17G called the Liberty Belle. Do you ever just play around in Photoshop and then REALLY like how the changes affected your image? This is one of those for me. I know it’s TOTALLY over the top and I LOVE it ….... Hope you do as well. Click here to get more detail on this beautiful aircraft My art with 1000+ views
OK, so it’s a bit far-fetched, but that’s the fun of this kind of stuff, it lets you create your own worlds. I’ll not explain in detail the jet propulsion/exhuast system of the pachyderm as I think you’ll get the picture. Even on Titan they are into recycling – note the bucket and shovel. Acrylic and a few tears.

highway to Belgrad.morning ride. picture taken trough the car window. / . *tribute to Friedrich Nietzsche .Friedrich Nietzsche was one of the most revolutionary thinkers in Western philosophy. Here he sets out his subversive views in a series of aphorisms on subjects ranging from art to arrogance, boredom to passion, science to vanity, rejecting conventional notions of morality to celebrate the individual’s ‘will to power’. . .Throughout history, some books have changed the world. They have transformed the way we see ourselves – and each other. They have inspired debate, dissent, war and revolution. They have enlightened, outraged, provoked and comforted. They have enriched lives – and destroyed them. Now Penguin brings you the works of the great thinkers, pioneers, radicals and visionaries whose ideas shook civilization and helped make us who we are. / .
