Taking a break from the Capriccios while I decide if the series is complete. / I painted the house years earlier than I got the new ink. / In light that I consider myself fairly perceptive I did not see the similarity between the walls and my skin for months after.

It’s a default state of mine. / I stare. / I know – it’s not safe – especially when driving at 70 miles per hour. / It’s also not polite. Others don’t like being the stare-ee. / It’s also not good for contact lense wearers. I really need to blink more to maintain comfort. / But given my natural inclinations, I would stare all day.
