I thought I would add this shot, as the one on the certificate is so small the heights and fantastic surroundings were lost. This was the longest ride of the trip and it was fantastic. 50mts above the Piper River. The guide told us we could get top speeds of up to 70 kilometers here. This was so awesome and I really was so relaxed and never felt at all nervous.

This painting shows how music can change the direction of a painting. It started out to be a South American fruit seller, I had this neat travel poster research from Dover copyright free archives. Marie put on a video she had pulled up from UTube, ‘GiTarzan’, this brought back memories. I had all 23 books of the Tarzan series when I was a kid and they were not read just once. I went to see every Tarzan movie with Johnny Weissmuller in it. This painting is the book Tarzan. The Tarzan of unexplored Africa, hidden cities, untold wealth, remains of lost civilazations escaped from the Roman Empire, and Egypt. Part of my ‘Kansas Farm’ series… / The farm where my friendly snake was found. This old farmhouse is over 100 years old now. My son and I were up here taking pictures on Sunday and yesterday. / Inside I found 2 phone books….for 1972 and 1973. 36 years this house has stood empty of human inhabitants. There are still dresses hanging in a closet…flower pots lying empty on the floorboards…even jars still resting on a shelf never to be used again. / A pair of overalls hang by a window, a record player sits silent, chairs are empty and boots are thrown in a corner. / A beautiful but silent place.
