A bombastic, dramatic fictional figure from ancient times.
20×20cm drawing.
The middle-aged buck decided that it’s time to show his serious face for a change this morning, as he is often playful and funny.
Sunrise at the old port of Montreal
The doe took a little time off from busy eating for the photo opportunity, although she didn’t want to give up the tasty colorful leaf. By now everyone who has ever seen my work knows that I’m absolutely “addicted” to develop a deep relationship and establish an intimate communication with mule deer (we don’t have a lot of white-tailed deer around here). Everyday I go out there in the early mornings, hoping to have a close encounter! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada
The doe kept following me around, trying to get me to take a serious portrait of her and finally she got it! ;)
The young buck stepped in front of his sister to steal the picture. He really likes the camera, a LOT! :)
The doe seemed to be imparting secret wisdom to the fawn, while the daughter focused her attention somewhere else, perhaps just to see if the camera was catching her with a flattering image? :)
The bird can’t decide which seed to go first as there are so many and she knows it’s time to feast but given the freedom of choice, she seems to feel paralyzed and frozen, not unlike people. :)
The bird was admiring her new winter coat.
My dog River posing for a portrait in the snow. She has ALWAYS liked her picture being taken since she barely opened her eyes at two weeks of age. Her litter mates ran around when the camera aimed at them but she stood in attention every time a photo opportunity showed up! :) I’m sure she’d be glad that I donate the proceed of the sale of her photos to Nature Canada as she loves woods and her deer friends as much as I do! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada.
The bird was claiming the seeds all to herself, chirping and chasing away all others (including my dog River). :)
River enjoys the snow so much that she pulls me on a harness on the cross-country ski trails in the provincial park. Of course she never misses a photo opportunity and loves to pose for the camera! :)
This is River’s way of saying “good morning” to Tchoko!
This is our Double Yellow-Headed Amazon Parrot named, Kellie Bird. / She is nine years old and up to mischief by flying 40 feet up into this cottonwood tree. While the firemen were trying to spray water on her to get her down, I thought I would take advantage of the moment and get her in a more natural setting. She loves being up high in trees and after 1 1/2 hours of persistence with the garden and fire hose with help from the Cameron Park Fire Department, we were successful getting her down. She’s safe and sound.
i remember the old times, when we used to talk…....i didnt say i liked it, i just said i remembered took 30 mins to draw it look like it did as well :S
