Imagine being born again. Only this time your mother is the earth and you come fully equipped with memories, knowledge and a belief system. What raw emotions are evoked when the first thing you are confronted with is an environment completely foreign to what you were expecting? / Fear, confusion, doubt and loneliness. / Or because of the new environment one may lose their inhibitions, feel joy or perhaps discover inner strength and courage. Maybe the nine images are a true metaphorical reflection of the artists soul? / His background and love for the stage and theatre. / His longing to find true love and a wanting audience. / The ongoing battle of time and money between industry and creative / fulfilment. Photo taken by collegue Simon Frankel. Then edited in Photoshop by myself. Thankyou to Simon for allowing me to post the photo. This was not a sand storm as some may think. Just over the hill was a raging fire that was taking control in 2006. They were taken at Pike River during the bush fire that burnt out around 120,000 hectares of scrub just north of the Riverland. / It was a mixture of smoke, stormy grey cloud and some sun trying to break through.

This is a very spiritual piece depicting a figure rising in lighting mixed with mist. The figure is surrounded by colours representing all spectrums and levels of self awareness. Painting details: multi-coloured figure wrapped in colour mist, lighting strikes through the image, light beams and clouds of colour surround the figure who is before a vivid red backdrop. One circle of light can be seen around her arm which guides her and supports her. This again is one of the trails or pathways that is out front of my home in one of our fields that I walk regular while chasing dreams and those beautiful sunsets that totally mesmerize me…............. Yeah, it has been edited in photoshop and corel…....... but the beauty is always there edit or no edit…........ I will always find beauty in nature…..... for it’s beauty is by far overwhelming ! One artist on Red Bubble whose work I admire very much is Daniela M. Casalla. Daniela makes visually stunning, masterfully created Digital Fine Art with great concepts as the starting point in her creative process. The resulting image at the end of that creative and inspired journey is wonderful to look at, interesting to ponder, and strongly based in intelligent design and sublime Artistry. Feeling inspired to act, I offered Daniela any one of my images to be used as an element in one of her brilliant pieces of Digital Art. Daniela chose one of my photos called ” Taken By God ” and used it as a part of her creation of this image for me called ” Taken ”. She is a fine Artist, and a very nice lady with a humble and friendly attitude – a great RB friend ! I feel honored to have participated in a small way in the creation of one of her great creations.
