  • Since greeting cards are officially available on RB, I decided to let one of my favorite babes join the big pool as well. This piece was created based on the idea of fractal, though I didn’t use any fractal softwares to make it. I will write more details on this later on. By the way, if you want a print of mighty big scale (36”x36” to be exact), it’s availabe on my shop.

  • Taipei, Taiwan. Two and a half million people in one city, but they all seem to make room for each other quite easily. There wasn’t a time while I was there that the city slowed down. Here’s your everyday street scene, with a little help from HDR techniques to paint things just so. In case you’re wondering how this image would look full size, here’s a few 100% crops:

  • Water Dragon was one of my first shots taken in Taiwan. Many of the local temples have several sculptures of dragons, phoenixes, and other important symbols of the Chinese zodiac depicted on them. The detail and the color are what I love about this. • Puffer Puffing On A Water Pipe

  • Shot of a Taiwan breed puppy. There are seven in total. These puppies had a rough start to their world and had a cruel act done upon them. A man driving a Asian style pick-up truck in Hsinchu, Taiwan, threw a total of nine puppies out of his truck while he was speeding down the road. Luckily my wife was driving behind this truck, she was shocked and instantly stopped to help these poor little puppies. Unfortunately, one of the puppies was killed from the impact. We found a home for one so far, but all the shelters here in Taiwan are full beyond capacity. Our plan for the rest, is to send them to our home town in Canada. The shelters there are welcoming them with open arms, and we’ve had so many people offering donations towards their flight.
