Shot at Pier 21, Halifax, the former Canadian immigration centre. It’s a museum now, but ships still come in to the port and in fact in the picture the white object out the window is a cruiser that had just pulled into port.

Maimed and cold, patiently waiting for better times… and company! This tree, overlooking the St. Lawrence river, has had a limb broken in December by an ice storm, followed by strong winds. Shot in my neighborhood, in the Parc de la Promenade in Candiac, Quebec, Canada. The misty cityscape in the background is that of Montreal. Applied Orton effect to enhance the mood. Lady bugs having some fun! On a summer day thousands and thousands of these little bugs gathered at the river Elbe in northern Germany. I don’t know why but it was amazing to be surrounded by them.
