  • This giant cotton silk tree has tried to reclaim a portion of the ruins of the Ta Prohm Temple in Cambodia. This is quite a well known tourist site, and is especially popular after a portion of the Tomb Raider movie was shot here. I hope you enjoy the effect I have created in the image. PS I also have a portrait version of this image available as well if anyone is considering making a purchase. I prefer this crop, but please let me know if you want to look and I can upload it for you. Cheers / Steve

  • The Marakoopa Cave, in the The Mole Creek Karst National Park, north/west Tasmania. The flowstone features in this cave are Breathtaking! There is 2 tours you can do in the caves, this is the lower one, there is also an upper one, which unfortunately I didn’t have time to do on this trip. 2 underground streams run through this cave, this image has the water from the stream at the bottom of the shot. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available large, and definately best viewed LARGE!

There is 2 tours you can do in the caves, this is the lower one, there is also an upper one, which unfortunately I didn’t have time to do on this trip. The pool of water in this one is actually higher than the base of the cave at the back of the shot. This gives some real cool illusions. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available large, and definately best viewed LARGE!

  • Found this beautiful stream on the walk up to The Marakoopa Cave, in the The Mole Creek Karst National Park, north/west Tasmania, Australia. This comes straight out of the cave, and is icy cold! Like a place, stuck in time, millions of years old. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available Large, and definately best viewed Large!

  • This beautiful piece of history is Australias oldest bridge still in use. Built in 1823, when the town was first settled. The town of Richmond was initially the on the main route from Hobart to Port Arthur. This shot taken in the early evening, about 40 minutes from sunset. The upper clouds just started to change their colour. Richmond Bridge, Richmond, Tasmania, Australia. Canon 50D, 18mm. Available Large, and definately best viewed large!!

  • I think every Australian knows of Port Arthur, for dark events that happened here, both in the recent past, and early days of Australia. A correctional facility for the re-offending criminals from Britain and Ireland, this was more than just a jail. It was about changing these men to rejoin society. It was used from 1833 until the 1877 when it was closed down. This was the main church, and it was one of Australia’s first non-denominational churches. Built using convict labour, in the gothic style. The bird in the shot is a crow. I did try to get one of the many rosellas in the area in the shot, but no luck there. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available Large and best viewed Large!!

  • Today I celebrate the beauty of two lovely breasts / breasts that rise and fall with each breath I take. Beneath them lie my heart and very soul / which they surround and keep safe. I nestle them in delicate lace and smooth satin / and anoint them with soothing oils. No longer do I wish them larger or smaller / or anything other than how they are right now. They are the beauty of my womanhood / myself as nurturer and lover and friend. My breasts are not who I am but a sacred part of me / and today I celebrate their beauty. And I invite you to celebrate yours too: / Get a mammogram this month xoxo In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month/October 2009
