Sunrise at the beach, pacific coast NSW central coast.
This was taken today, I am happy to report that the moth is doing really well, we even let it out of cage for a fly around the room. On Grahame’s instruction yesterday I made up a sugar and water solution , stirring the sugar until it disolved and then adding more and more until it was like a syrup. Then we cut a square of yellow and a square of blue sponge cloths and dipped them in the sugar syrup. Then we put them on a dish and into the cage. It acts as a replacement for the nectar they would normally sip from the flowers. I have another 3-4 cocoons that are waiting to hatch, it may be that they are hatching because we have started using the central heating as the weather is colder now.

A rose is a flowering shrub of the genus Rosa, and the flower of this shrub. There are more than a hundred species of wild roses, all from the northern hemisphere and mostly from temperate regions. The species form a group of generally prickly shrubs or climbers, and sometimes trailing plants, reaching 2–5 metres tall, occasionally reaching as high as 20 meters by climbing over other plants.Rose hips are sometimes eaten, mainly for their vitamin C content. They are usually pressed and filtered to make rose hip syrup, as the fine hairs surrounding the seeds are unpleasant to eat .(Wikipedia.org)

...are when i miss you the most. Tickety tock let’s stop the clock my love it’s Sunday morning and the moments drizzle by in slow lazy streams like toffee honey caramel dribbled all over my toffee honey skin you’re in dripping in sweet sticky streams down steaming pancake towers made for girls with long ropes of hair and boys who climb trees on Sunday mornings when I don’t want to get dressed and have nothing to wear so will prance around in my frilly knickers and brew us coffee until it’s time to feed and we crave pancakes again.

Our lemon tree is bleeding. For a minute or two (around 11.48am) a shaft of light shines through the leaves and produces this liquid gold. I have taken so many shots over three days to try to capture how exquisite I thought this looked. I have settled on this one, it has been cropped, otherwise “as is” NIKON D200 18-200
