Under the pier at Cowes, Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia at Dawn. Taken at the same time as Beginning of a new day for something a little bit different. I never realized how symmetrical condensation was… hmm…. This was the result of boredom one night… and I rather like it now. Shot in tungsten for the blue tone and back lit by my computer. I think I also used my flash for this one too… Enjoy!

A picture taken at the metro station Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark. Post processing: / Adjusted the exposure and white balance a bit in camera raw. / Adjusted the levels and made the picture even lighter, added b&w layers set to multiply and soft light, both on 50% opacity. Added two b&w layers with a bluish tint set to overlay and multiply (100% and 20% opacity). Added an unsharp filter and straightened a bit.

Its not often that i wander about and take lots of pictures of the same thing from different angles when on explores, mainly because of the time issue as i have explained elsewhere in this series, but there is just something about these boilers that i could not resist. I think the geek in me loved the symmetry they offered as well. It has been known on occasion for me to spend an hour just in one room when we have over 400 of them to explore, this place was threatening to do the same. You might not be able to make it out on this resized version of the image but these boilers were made by the famous James Proctor LTD of Burnley in Lancashire. / / / See the rest of this site walk through / /
