Bowl of stir fried udon noodles garnished with black sesame seeds and fresh mint with green chopsticks Karin’s Fabulous Stir Fried Udon Recipe / (or as my son’s friends used to call it when they were kids, “Fried Worms”) 1/2 package of udon or soba noodles (whole wheat or white) / 3 T tamari or soy sauce / 2 T brown or white rice vinegar / 1 T light or dark sesame oil / Red pepper flakes to taste / Sesame seeds, green onions for garnish (I used mint in the photo, because that is all I had in the house…turned out pretty tasty!!!) Boil the noodles until al dente, and then rinse under cold water. Add tamari, rice vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes to the empty pot, and heat to a boil. Drain the noodles and add to the pot. Stir until liquid has evaporated and coated the noodles. Serve with sesame seeds and green onions (or mint).

Some otters found refuge in the rocks at my workplace. I figured they would like some sushi, in trade for a picture, and I was right!! Two of them came to check it out, but this little guy got the treat. Cute little critters, I can hear them just chattering back and forth with each other! Very hard picture to get,was one of those lucky days!! :) Hope you enjoy and thanks as always for viewing!!

Our second class Photoshop manipulation assignment, relatively the same as the first, just use different photos and aim for believability. PLEASE READ: / You’re most certainly allowed to have your opinions on this, good or bad, but if you decide to comment, please make sure it is done in a mature and thoughtful manner. I will listen to and consider any comment if it is done in that sense. Comments that are anything less are nothing but spam on my page. I had no message intended behind this at all. It was simply a silly idea/concept born from the photos I had. NO DOGGIES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS. My golden retriever is alive and well. I love my dog and in no way, shape or form would I intend to actually try and eat her haha I also actually don’t really like sushi… The photos of the cutting board, and the dog (my golden retriever, Chelsea) are mine. The sushi bits have been highly manipulated from an online restaurant photo. (Also, the dog is only supposed to be a couple inches long, on a regular sized cutting board)
