  • 2nd in series of beach shots with my Niece and puppy

  • This shot was taken at Boat Harbour Beach on the NW Coast of Tasmania. You can just see Table Cape on the RHS of the shot in the distance.

  • THIS WAS THE LAST PHOTO I TOOK OF OUR DAUGHTER BEFORE SHE LEFT IN THE CAR ON HER WAY TO THE CHURCH WITH HER DAD…....... And she is on her way, / The veil conceals a single tear, / Her Father holds a shaking hand / and the limousine pulls away. They talk of nothing really, / “You’ll always be my little girl”, he says, / as they pull into the Church, / and the veil conceals a single tear. The organist plays, and everyone stands, / This time she holds her Dad’s shaking hand, / There is no veil to conceal his tears, / and the longest walk of his life begins. “Who gives this Woman”, a nod of consent, / A secret glance, and exchange of vows, / For now and forever, for better for worse, / And she is on her way….........................

  • Early morning sunrays through the trees in our backyard (literally!). It reminded me of the arrival of some other life force.

  • A different take on the tree of dreams Subservient inspired THIS wonderful piece of writing from a very talented RB Writer – adgray – go spend a little time with her to read and dream! “I kowtow to your greatness the blue that is impossibly you / I have no colour to contend with the iridescence of you / I cannot reach as high as you / I cannot be as wide as you / But please don’t forget will you / That without me and my kind … / .... there is no impossibly iridescent great blue you!” Said the thirsty tree to the glorious cloudless sky of blue! adgray

  • Take another stroll with me through St Emilion in France.

  • There is nothing so simple, yet so detailed as a Gerbera

  • Sunrise Shoot, Sorrento, Victoria

  • Digital artwork created from two photographs, three texture overlays plus brushes, scratches and colour variations. Took a good few hours to get this right. One of my current favourites. Inspired by the song “My Eyes Adored You” My eyes adored you, / Though I never laid a hand on you, my eyes adored you. / From a million miles away from me you couldn’t see how I adored you, / So close, so close and yet so far. (Showing my age now!)

  • A textured version one of the Ferris Wheels in Melbourne overlooking the Yarra River Texture courtesy of Ghostbones

  • One of those mornings when you feel glad to be alive, and especially glad that you took your camera on the way to work! Nikon D700 and 14-24 lens

  • Another from this mornings mist shots Nikon D700

  • A different perspective of my drive to work in the morning. / The wide angle lens made this look a little more dramatic than it actually is! The mist this morning was awesome. Nikon D700, 14 – 24 lens / With textured overlay and colour adjustments

  • A very early morning, overlooking the basin at the foot of Mount Dandenong. Needs to be viewed large to see details. As featured in No 1 Artists of Red Bubble 21.4.09

  • A mono version

  • Photoshoot with babies and animals! One hand on camera, another holding dog and foot behind baby, trying to focus, take the shot and make sure nothing and no one moved where they shouldn’t!, and pieces of me stayed out of the view. Now I know why photographers need an assistant!

  • Morning Mist Photography taken in The Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. Thanks again to the mood enhancing textures of Ghostbones – http://www.flickr.com/photos/telzey/sets/72157611268347999/ Nikon D700 14-24 lens
