  • This picture is very special to me because after being thrown 40ft out of a little honda del sol, that flipped four times and was without a seatbelt and thrown out a window….I survived this bracelet was 3 years old at the time and it was the only thing they did not cut off of me when the ambulance cut alll my other jewelry off…this picture is taken at the site of the accident…God saved me…and my two friends.

  • This was inspired whilst I was at a Dragonboating Regatta, I was paddling with the lovely ladies from Dragonsabreast. Joining Dragonsabreast and participating in their events / (eg. / / ) / has been a turning point in my life and meant a new direction and better health after breast cancer. Realism it is not, representational maybe. / Done on Black paper, drawn on with white & pink pens.

  • Originally taken for the PC Survivors & Friends ‘Water from the tap’ Challenge. This is a small blue vase filled with small river rocks that I added tap water to. Then I had one of my kids use a dropper to drip water in to it. I bet I took 100 shots and this is one of my favs. :o) The various colors are from the vase, the rock and my counter. No post editing on this one. It came right from the camera Nikon D40 18-55mm Nikkor lens.

  • ...and so it was, I ran this way, then that way…then back around and when the dust had all settled, I saw from the corner of my beak, the great monster truck pull away with nothing but feathers blowing in the wind behind him…......yes, I was one of the lucky ones, a survivor….....signed, Joe Turkey!

  • Straight from my camera,,,,,,I was awestruck by this view and the history behind it….the handfulof the Loch Ard shipewreck survivors had this view from the cave they slept in. Apparently a local rancher heard their pleas for help and they were rescued!!!!! Kodak C3240 as is March 2006,,, Australia’s Great Ocean Road
