This image was captured looking from the canoe pool along the sand on Newcastle Beach towards the fast sinking sun. For this time of year the beach was busy with surfers checking out the waves combined with a back drop of families walking and playing in the sand. So typical of the Newcastle area, Newcastle Beach is a popular spot for locals and tourists with its beachside cafes. and walks … and for those game enough at this time of the year … the magnificent surf. /
Wollongong / Wollongong is the third largest city in NSW, situated one hours drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal plain below the Illawarra coast
A collection of images from the beach around Sandhaven Beach, the Lees and Marsden Bay in South Shields. A collection to make my thirds rule teacher Jon Daly very upset lol. And dedicated to Jo for a wonderful day and being a wonderful person
This image was taken yesterday (12.12.09) at Bells Beach Torquay, Vic. For those of you who don’t know,, it’s one of the most famous surf coasts in the world; in particular Bells Beach,, also made famous by the movie Point Break (although I don’t think it was actually filmed there?) / Nikon D200 / 18-200mm / Processed in RAW & Lightroom & play around with some textures.
