This is one of my silver award winning prints from the 07 AIPP State awards. / I spent the week up in Surfer’s on the Gold coast – Hence no updates or nice comments for people. This is just one of the hundreds of photos i came up with – a simple pan of some of the hi-rise apartments. / The big pointy bugger is the Q1 building – the tallest residential building in the world.

There’s sunshine and swell but it’s too windy to get decent waves without a massive massive paddle.. so, we watched and waited.. then moved on.

The sun is setting with the last light reflecting of the Hi Rises of Surfers Paradise looking across the Nerang River. Fished here with really light gear today and caught a few decent size fish – though there was the one that got away…...I’ll be back with a little heavy line class tomorrow.

Surfer Joe maybe … my Monday unwind on Redhead Beach in NSW Australia. This surfer happened to walk in front of my camera at the most appropriate time … he waved to me as if to say sorry …. me I just said thank you! Perfect evening / Temperature – perfect / No wind / Magnificent light – constantly changing / Stress levels – NIL / Photographic opportunities – limitless / Amusement level – one dog who followed me everywhere begging me to throw his stick!!
