This image of Superman was done with thinned out oils on paper.I was captivated by a promotional painting by Alex Ross who painted and illustrated DC comics best-selling graphic novel ‘Kingdom Come’ set many years after Superman had retired.Set to the tone of ‘Revelations’,its stark,bold and a personal journey for any reader.The painted images by Alex alone is somthing to behold…go google Alex Ross!!!!

Taken on 35mm film. It was at our local show. The Yamaha free style team put on a great show, the night before this picture was taken, one of the performers landed badly and broke his arm…!

He showed us a man could fly ….Forever iconic,Forever Imortal! / I chose a seldom seen image of Chris(not bad considering i finished a nightshift),slighty changed it a bit to give him a Etheral almost angelic look.All done with Pencil!

.....................................................................................just a glimpse of a partial page in a comic book that I thought would make a cool pic for a friend (who is obsessed with comic books). I bought this comic book at a newstand in Buenos Aires, Argentina, too. / The colors were enhanced and I cropped it up a bit to focus on the two sole Super Heroes that seemed so in awe of one another. :)

I have always been a fan of the first Superman(rip Chris Reeve),and i have always love john Barry’s design of the fortress of solitude.Anyway resticted to a a4 page lol i kinda did my own version.Pencil/colored pencil maketh the drawing.
