Sunday we went to the point between Kings Beach and Shelly Beach up the Sunshine Coast for the sunrise. / It was a clear day, which while making for an ok sunrise, the location had a lot to offer with tide pools and rock formations to keep the scenes interesting! We even saw 2 nested Sea Eagles and a juvenile on the top of the “mast” that marks The Point.

Taken at Coolum, Sunshine Coast, Qld, Au / 7/03/2009 My husband had a surprise for me after work on Friday…. a night away to Coolum…sun, surf, and some photography of course! This little guy was just standing there, while his mate was fishing nearby…she was more successful, he on the other hand soon had to fly off his perch since the waves came and "crashed his party" / Lucky his mate shared her lunch with him!
