A photograph with “home made P.S.” the only difference is that the objects were live, hand picked and hand applied. It was made with layers of nature, reflections and things around the house. /

Title says it all :) There was a huge pile of leaves to choose from and I found this one on top of the heap. I never took closeups of leaves before so I discovered something I never realized before…....The colored shiny sides of the leaves held little or no droplets and the back sides of the leaves held all of the tiny droplets perfectly. Never knew that :)
Stripped of her beauty, she stands alone, firm and strong. / Falling into sleep as Autumn fades. A time to restore her energy spent. / The cold and bitter winds of winter encircle her, testing her. / But she is safe, her armour protecting her, securing her delicate core from the many elements, shielding her from harm. / The rings of time hardened around her, embracing her, allowing her to sleep without worry. / As every day passes, she will take from the sun, bask in the light of the moon and quench her thirst from the soil drawing strength from her foundations, allowing her to grow. / When the time is right and the warmth of the earth awakens her spirit she will yet again show us her splendour. Give us her beauty. /
A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.

Emerald Paradise As Is… / Canon PowerShot S3 IS Rainbow Springs Florida’s third largest spring, Rainbow Springs pump 600 million gallons of water daily and serves as the head water to the pristine Rainbow River. The property was acquired by the State Park Service in 1990 and is slowly being allowed to revert to its natural state. / Beautiful floral gardens surround the spring, and the area is immensely popular in the spring when the azaleas are in bloom. The state also acquired Rainbow Springs State Campground, located nearby, which was formerly privately owned. From the campground, you can tube or canoe the crystalline waters of Rainbow River, or fish for large mouth bass and other freshwater species. / A nature trail provides a lovely walk past two waterfalls and the azalea gardens, and meanders along the Rainbow River. / /

Okay! Well after a VERY hairy moment i got my image back! Not the same but its here…:( I love records! I love my dads records and everything about them! These ones were or are beyond use, they are old and mostly Motown singers, i LOVE Motown! Amazing! Awesome, awesome. I decided one day to hang them in a fejoa tree (that i also LOVE!) and this was the result, ive edited the color, it was shot in B&W and put a border around it…..call me nostalgic but i almost had a heart attack when i accidentally deleted it. The 70’s were a GREAT time and i love alot of things about that era, the fashion, hair and make up, music for sure! This is what these remind me of! The 70’s. Great times for my dad and them and a time well of unrest in other places. I think i did it justice, i hope you all like it! 700 views

Besides eagles, black cockatoos would have to be my favorite birds, they are so majestic. I’m instantly alert when i hear their call. These 2 were in a large flock of about 20, landing in the trees around where I was photographing the Glasshouse Mountains. Stirred up by the storms passing through, they were more chirpy than usual.
