Thanks to the magic of inspiration, I have produced another painting. As usual, I am tempted to continue fiddling. It may need gold, perhaps… I know we are requested to only put finished images up….it could be finished! We’ll see.

This is an old drawing of a Lancashire sunset. This is one of those.. “you see and simply want to draw it” works.. after days of torrential rain towards the end of the day the clouds parted briefly to reveal this dramatic “liquid” sunset. Its not one of those bathed in rich colours.. the colour is basically washed out of the sunset. Folks from north west England will have seen this type of sky often. Another shot from the same location as ‘Swissshhhh!’ on the West Coast of Scotland , back in March. Small isles of Eigg and Rhum in the distance, but those storm clouds are closing in and we got quite a nasty hail shower not long after taking this shot. Good job our holiday cottage was right on the beach! :)
