The beauty of baultic light… / I took this picture at the swedish harbour of Helsingborg. check what the product looks like here thank you for stopping by!
Taken on a ship as it left Sydney Harbour; this is just to the right of the Harbour Bridge as you leave. This photo was taken on a rather glum day, but the Sun appeared just as we were leaving, giving pretty much everything an orange tint.
beautiful sunset and waves on the beach

extreme sunset reflections
This shot was taken of my girlfriend up in the Blue Mountains at sunset. I really like the way that the backlighting of the setting sun has managed to perfectly outline her silhouette and has also put a gold glow through the leaves on either side of her.. / Thanks very much for taking a look!
No two sunrises are ever the same. This collage is of many different sunrises that I have had the opportunity to witness.
Here is a sunset capture with my two boys. They are very close and are not only brothers but best friends and love doing everything together :o)
This was taken at sunset in Maleny, Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, Australia. Colour Balance on PS was used to punch up the colours. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera. This was also the view from our balcony.
I’ve gotta be the most corny title-creator-person-dude. My alarm went off at 6.45am and temperature outside was around 4C. You had no idea how warm my bed felt at the time, but something inside told me to wake up and enjoy the early giving’s nature has to offer. Plus, breathing fresh air for every 5 minutes would’ve added 5 more years to my life. =) - – - / Shot settings: / Body: Canon EOS 350D / Lens: Sigma 10-20mm EX HSM DC / Shutter Speed: 1/40 sec / F-stop: F/8 / Focal Length: 10mm / Flash: Did not fire / ISO: 100 MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /
Oil Pastel And Acrylic Concept: This is one of the many in Ophelia’s Love Encounters Series, it’s her experience of many facets of this wonderful thing called LOVE.. This is what she has to say about love today : “Love is like the sun, it never fails to pledge its’ faithfulness everyday.” / You can view and buy my other “Love Is Like The Sun” creations from my Zazzle Gallery:
I was back up at the Bunkyou Civic Centre yesterday, this time with one of my students. The sunset was extraordinary. It was impossible to control the lens-flare as I was shooting straight into the sun for this shot. Five-shot bracketed HDR with very little done to the colour. This is pretty much, apart from a bit of a shift in the tonal contrast, what the scene looked like through the lens. Nikon D300 / Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 ED / 5-frame bracketed burst merged in Photomatix 2.5.4
Palm Silhouettes / Sunset Christmas Day on Maui The Adventurer “Dusk on the sea; the fading twilight shifts / The night wind bears the ocean’s whisper dim wind, on your bosom many a phantom drifts - A silver star climbs up the blue world rim. / Wind, make the green leaves dance above me here And idly swing my silken hammock – so; / Now, on that glimmering molten silver mere / Send the long ripples wavering to and fro. / And let your moon-white tresses touch my face And let me know your slim-armed, cool embrace While to my dreamy soul you whisper low. Dream – aye, I’ve dreamed since last night left her tower And now again she comes on star-soled feet. Welcome, old friend; here in this rose-gemmed bower I’ve drowsed away your Sultan’s golden heat. Here in my hammock, Time I’ve dreamed away For I have but to stretch a hand out, lo, I’m treading languorous shores of Yesterday, Moon-silvered deserts or the star-weird snow; I float o’er seas where ships are purple shells, / I hear the tinkle of the camel bells / That waft down Cairo’s streets when dawn winds blow. South Seas! I watch when dusky twilight comes Making vague gods of ancient, sea-set trees. / The world path beckons – loud the mystic drums – Here at my hand the magic golden keys / That fit the doors of Romance, / Wonder, / strange / Dim gossamer adventures; seas and stars. Why, I have roamed the far Moon Mountain range When sunset minted gold in shimmering bars. / All eager eyed I’ve sailed from ports of Spain / And watched the flashing topaz of the Main / When dawn was flinging witch fire on the spars. / I am content in dreams to roam my fill / The vagrant, drifting sport of wind and tide, / Slave of the greater freedom, venture’s thrill; / Here every magic ship on which I ride. Gold, green, blue, red, a priceless treasure trove, More wealth than ever pirate dared to dream. / My hammock swings – about the world I rove. / The sunset’s dusk, the dawning’s glide and gleam, Moon-dappled leaves are murmuring in the wind Which whispers tales. Lo, Tyre is just behind, Through seas of dawn I sail, / Romance abeam.” ~ by Robert Ervin Howard My images do not belong to the public domain and may not be reproduced in any manner whatsover without my express written authorization. / Copyright © Sharon Mau 2009 / All Rights Reserved Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi / 25 December 2008 19:25:33 / Tv Shutter Speed 1/250 / Av Aperture Value 10.0 / ISO 100 / Lens EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM / Focal Length 28.0 mm Currently with 995 Views and 1 Sale

After the wild weather and huge sea’s Qld experienced in May 2009, I wanted to see how much the beach erosion had exposed the old Dicky Beach shipwreck. To my amazement the whole rear hull was now fully visible to the point where you can see woodwork in the bottom of the hull. Also one side of the rear has now fallen in. PLEASE VIEW LARGE. The Glasshouse Mountains, about 70 kilometres north of Brisbane in Queensland. Volcanic plugs dot the landscape, the cores of extinct volcanoes that formed 27 million to 26 million years ago. The outer pyroclastic exteriors long worn away. Captain James Cook on his voyage in 1770 gave them this name, because it reminded him of huge glass furnaces (glasshouses) back in his native Yorkshire, UK. You can just see the Bruce Hwy in the bottom left of the shot. Huge Pine plantations cover most of the bottom of shot, and stormy skies the top. Taken 5pm, 29th November 2009. Glasshouse Mountains, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Canon 5D Mk II, 2 x Stitched 35mm shots, displaying about 150 degrees view. Actual print size about 3 metres long. Best viewed Large!
