Possibly one of the most charismatic tree’s I have ever seen, it’s at a place called Batesford which is West of Geelong. Standing next to it overlooking the landscape at sunrise or sunset is something quite special, a bit like hanging with an old friend lol

Up early in anticipation of dawn over Ben More in the scottish highlands but things soon went downhill as low grey cloud arrived bringing another day of scotch mist… That was the last we saw of any sunlight for those few days but it was great walking weather nonetheless!

My day has been inside. Its colder and I have been busy. I had another sky view that I wanted to play with. Sort of a painting view. I suppose you will have to view large to see the kite. But that is fine.. This is a brighter side of a gloomy day.. I hope you find a bit of joy in my simple view of a sunrise on a day in the dreams of a child.. / Chuck Even Children Need A Card To Feel Better

BETTER VIEWED LARGER A beach in view of Sydney Harbour bridge ? Well hence the title, well this beach is only there at extreme low tide its usually under 6feet of water or 2.metres . This shot was taken at sunrise from this mystery spot and is an example of some of the great sunrises that we get on Sydney Harbour when all the conditions click /

A Sunrise from my backyard.

Now this is just a bit before the sunrise.. These deer love to come up and eat the young grass and seeds or apples and pears. We do love to watch them before the winds come and the fog burns away from the sunshine.. Ahh the country life.. / Come have a cup of coffee or tea. Where Do You Have Your Coffee At

BEST VIEWED LARGER This is a slightly different angle to another work in my porfolio “To The Point / Kissing Point is located near Hill End Gold Mining Country about 3.5 hours from Sydney by dirt and sealed road. Surrounded by forrests Hill End is country NSW full of history and stunning views. This shot shows two trees perched on the edge of a valley, fog covering the valley far below, as sunrise lightens the area. This was taken on August 29th just before 7PM; It was a blustery, windy but very warm evening with spectacular clouds and an amazing sunset. The rain was on the way, but unfortunately, it never reached us even as close as this seems (and it was very close). The storm turned North and we never saw more than a few sprinkles.

Hanging Rock near Baltzers Lookout in Blackheath N.S.W. Australia I got up at 4am / I hopped in my 4WD and went up the mountains for 40 minutes / went on a fire-trail to the end until I came across a Locked Gate. / I got out with my Maglight torch and ran in the Dark for 30 minutes. / I got to the cliff edge as the sun was rising. / Climbed down and captured this Photo for you. I hope you enjoy Click on the photo and see the larger view on this one! Thanks for visiting! / I really appreciate your comments.

I’m just fascinated over what the low light of a rising sun can do to a landscape. The title to be exact should read “With The Birds, and the sheep and Simon Gladwin and the dog walker with his dog I shared this nearly lonely view” but I went with the RHCP’s shorter (and nearly true) version of events.

This sunrise was very dramatic I really enjoyed shooting it. Hope you enjoy viewing it as well.
