I took this picture a couple of years ago at the beach of Marina di Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy. / This is a fine example I think of how a fisheye lens can completely change the feeling of an ordinary scene. The subject is simply some surf on the seashore, captured from a distance of not more than a foot. / The original picture is a Fuji Velvia 50 Iso medium format slide. Same beach as Sunrise on Boulder Beach Not sure of the name of the beach, Nick calls it middle cove, and it’s near Coolum This is a 3 shot HDR, f/13, 16mm, ISO 50, shot at around 6.30am after I woke at 2.20am. OTHER BEACH SHOTS
