Photograph “to see a video of Israel Kamakawiwo’Ole” CLICK This is a photograph I took of my youngest daughter. When my daughters were younger, we used to tell Faery stories at bed time and take turns adding to the story. The stories were very long and often times they would be very revealing, these were happy memories for us so…….. I wanted to capture what one of those characters might have looked like, she was a Tree Faery and her hair was a birds nest, egg included.

The Pasha Bulker ran aground at Nobby’s Beach, Newcastle, NSW, Australia on the 8th June, 2007. It has had lots of media coverage. It weighs 40,000 tonnes and may be stuck there forever. Salvage crews are working to try and remove it in the next king tide. I took this photo a few days after it ran aground. It was a horrible, windy day, but as I arrived the sun seemed to peek through the storm clouds and shon upon the ship like a spotlight. I have not digitally altered this shot in any way. It is what it is. Enjoy!!

The track winds it’s way down on a grassy slope to the edge of Corio Bay with the You Yangs in the background. / This image featured on the front cover of an art calandar published by BEST SHOTS as well as a coffee table book on Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula. / It also was part of a support promotion run by the press getting readers to write in and try to determine where it was taken from as the location is not readily visable to travellers.

A new image taken just today of a single Dragonfly that found his way into the back window of my car; I don’t drive this vehicle much, as I recently purchased a newer model…..I saw him in the back window and he wasn’t moving….he turned out to be a very coorperative model for several shots; I hope you like them. I found a little bit of ice in the shape of a heart, It was just beginning to melt off of the vine. Ruth Palmer mentioned that the vine looked like a little girl and it looks like she’s tugging on a heart string too :) /
