This sink is in the washroom of an abandoned war bunker, two floors underground. Due to the absolutely lack of light all pictures down here had to be done with a torch painting light across the subject as i shot, but thankfully they have come out quite well considering. I do love these old Belfast sinks, they always look great no matter how old or abused.

She responded quickly to my indecision of what to paint by emailing me half a dozen photos. How cool is that?

This is the Sunken Garden in Bouchart Gardens in Victoria, B.C., Canada. The Sunken Gardens are absolutely gorgeous and I was blessed to be able to view them at the peak of autumn colors with incredibly beautiful evening light! I’m sure it is equally breathtaking in the spring…but, to be honest, I couldn’t imagine it any more beautiful than it was on our visit!
