  • Black and white photo of a rusted out sunken ship. The deck of the ship is covered by a colony of sea lions. The ship sits in the harbor in Ensenada, Mexico.

  • This sink is in the washroom of an abandoned war bunker, two floors underground. Due to the absolutely lack of light all pictures down here had to be done with a torch painting light across the subject as i shot, but thankfully they have come out quite well considering. I do love these old Belfast sinks, they always look great no matter how old or abused.

  • Grimsby, England

  • One of several shot on a foggy day at Long Cove, Nova Scotia

  • Mixed Media (watercolor with white acrylic highlights) 12”x8” on linen canvas sheet. I would love to tell you about the location of this work, but the truth is my RB friend Carolyn Staut sent me the photo I used for this painting. She responded quickly to my indecision of what to paint by emailing me half a dozen photos. How cool is that?

  • Unusual church beside Rutland Water

  • The Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island, Canada, is one of the world’s premier floral show gardens. Jennie Butchart began to shape this magnificent landscape in 1904. She established, in the style of the grand estates of the period, several distinct gardens to evoke a range of aesthetic experiences. An abandoned limestone quarry was transformed into the dramatic Sunken Garden. More from Butchart Gardens:
