Simply that. A short road trip to Wicklow with Terry in his old Ford Escort. Originally a black and white shot a friend, Dave did a whole lot of post pro on the image in photoshop including multiple layering of Denise’s shades in varying dpi so that when you shone a torch on the print it looked like you could see “through” the glasses…? It looked like that but whether that would have happened anyway I have no idea but it was a phenomenal success at the time so I have always credited Dave as co-author of this image. / Models: Denise, Orla / Set: Terry’s Car / Image: Phil & Dave
