This pristine, picturesque church on the west coast of Norway was so enchanting. The inside of the church was minute….I don’t think you could fit a dozen people in it. The usually blustery North Sea weather took a break that day – lucky for me – and blessed me with blue skies and calm. The gravestones were incredible…..ancient…from so very long ago. THe graveyard dates to the Middle Ages. On the Varhaug Farm, Norway

The perfect place for a child….a childhood fantasy…although I am not sure my daughter will appreciate the giant butterflys flying around her head! It is way over the top, but I was looking for surreal…...and having fun playing! This one was made especially for the “My Happy Place” challenge. Just thinking of all the things that delighted me as a child…..horses, flowers, sunshine, summer, balloons, butteflies and nature! A composite of six images.
