This little fella was enjoying the warm sun!

This is a baby Water lizard. I took the photo at Australia Zoo where most water lizards where free to rome to any water they could find. This one happend to be in a Croc pen, luckly it was probably to small to be lunch.

The falcon just had a bit of a dip in a nearby puddle and decided to dry off in what little of sun there was on that afternoon. It was not too pleased that I was approaching and hopped away, soon after this photo was taken. / Taken in the Florida Keys: Marathon

30×20cm oil on board / This is another summer painting, living in Ireland you get to appreciate the sun so much more when you get it! I added the texture a few days after I painted the oil.

Both my Mom and I make friends very easily. Yet, this picture took me by surprise when I first saw it! Sunbathing with a duck? Wow, Mom you really did have a lot of great friends! They’re mighty good looking too!

This beauty I identify as a King Brown Snake , but am happy to be corrected :) he /she was having a late morning relax/warm up in my corner of SW NSW / Alongside a shallow lake, with ample cover, and a supply of frogs- snake heaven! I love kingies (NOT around the house tho :( ) -along with the RBB’s they are a placid beastie usually :) this pic is as is.

Stevey loves the morning California sunlight, especially on a December day, just as I do. As I am sneaking around the yard taking bird pictures, Stevey can usually be found lazing in the sun. When I come in, he usually stays outside to continue his bask treatment! This shot was taken in Roseville, CA.
