  • Skies alight with burning fire / Smouldering with clouds of grey / Flashing yellows, to admire / Blinding light in dancing play / To what power can compare / This awesome sight that we behold / What could make a person stare / And make a story here unfold / A feline, such a stunning beast / Who’s beauty cannot be denied / Such beauty for thine eyes to feast / Of shimmered gold and blackened hide / The leopard proudly takes her stance / They say her spots cannot be changed / And while she makes her perfect dance / To want to would just be deranged / By Julie Langford . Julie Langford whom we all know and love here at RedBubble, approached me when I posted the original Poser excited at doing a collaboration where she would apply a sunset to the image. I accepted, and needless to say the result is stunning as you see before you! But then, Julie asked if I would like her to write some prose to accompany the piece when I posted it, and again I accepted. The poem is also hers, and I must say she has made me proud! We hope you all enjoy this collaboration or as I like to call it a “Coolaboration”! I am going to pledge to donate 100% of all sales proceeds from cards and prints of this beautiful collage to Wildlife Conservation Society / / / / / / / Portfolio Areas / Tigers / Wildlife / Macro / Landscape / Birds / Abstracts / Cats~wild and domestic

  • This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. • We had to wait for a while, for the Elephants to walk into the scene, and for the mountain to clear. A very pleasant wait indeed ! Sundown does not last very long on the Equator. • Featured in the # 1 Artists of Red Bubble group / Top Ten in the Outdoor Arts Adventure challenge in the First Things group Greater Blue Heron feeds her 3 chicks in the nest at dusk Captured at Stanley Park Blackpool Lancashire UK with Canon 40D

  • This is a Raccoon that lives under my hot tub, in our hot tub room. She has seven babies and is seen walking about the yard at any given time of day. The dogs are quite peeved about it too. She seems very trusting and comes right to the sliding door to stick her nose in. I have so many pictures of her that are quite clear and beautiful but for some reason I like these type best. This is when she sits on the stairs to the hot tub in the late afternoon sun, grooming herself. I have a few more that are similar. I thought it showed off her beauty best…........in a different sort of way….......er maybe it’s just me ;)

  • This was originally a photo I took in Botswana, at the Okavango Delta. It was the same sunset cruise that Resplendency was taken at. This was a bit later in the evening, on the way back to our campsite. Thanks to my new found love of texture layering, I was able to transform this photo completely. Tweaking of colour balance and layering a rusted texture with it has given it a more painted look. All done in Photoshop CS4 To me, it epitomises my need to explore the world and discover as much as I can.
