I’m not righteous so it wasn’t shining on me, but at least I was able to grab this shot from the deck of the ferry travelling to the Outer Hebrides!

March 2, 2009, I was driving home along the waterfront in Sidney, Vancouver Island, when I saw the sky had suddenly changed from a fairly nice day to an unusual yellowish-gray colour, quite startling and menacing. Added to it was the build-up of very black clouds almost like a thunderhead but the wrong time of year. / This was about 5:15 in the late afternoon. The storm didn’t really develop, except for a heavy short rainfall and gusts of wind, and the skyscape only lasted about a half-hour but it was quite interesting while it lasted. / Fuji S100FS camera, polarizing filter, lens set about 100 mm.and slightly cropped to avoid some houses.
