They guy behind the sunglasses is a good friend of mine from a town near 1770, in Northern Queensland. In the reflection you can see the sun going down at a surf break near a small town called Krui in South Sumatra, after a massive day of surfing perfection.

Sanibel Island, on the southern Gulf shore of Florida, is a lovely place to vacation. It is considered a sheller’s paradise and is ranked number one of American beaches noted for seashells. It also has some glorious sunrises and sunsets; this was daybreak on the island in late July 2008.

“Its Summer!” In the Northern Hemisphere, at long last….I was reflecting on last Summer. This was taken at Crystal Cove California USA, I waded into the surf to taken this photo, with this absolutely beautiful sunset….enjoy:=} Photo taken by Canon IXUS

Black ink on A5 110 gsm Cartridge Yet another “Byron holiday” drawing, from back in ‘07… / I was sitting in a cafe drawing this / ... The waiter, Adam, happened to notice, commented & we got to chatting… He asked whether i’d ever done Tattoo designs before(i’m often asked this, not sure why?)... “Um, no”... “but i’ll give it a shot”... Adam knew he wanted waves, as he’s a surf instructor, as well as snow flakes & faces… the sun setting over the ocean & Byron hills came from another of my drawings done whilst up there. / We traded in coffees… which i know coffee costs next to nothing to make, but given how many i used to drink in a week i think i came out well in front!!! / I have recently added a little more detail to the original. / Another of the cafe staff purchased a print of this for the basis of a tattoo for her boyfriend… hopefully he had plenty of patience! Ouch!
