I am lucky enough to live right next to a forest so I took the kids bush walking and got this photo of the sunset through the long grass.. I just really liked the golden tones and I had a different grass image but have taken it down and replaced it with this one.

View looking up the stairwell of the Point Hicks lighthouse, Croajingolong National Park. This lighthouse is immaculate and has been well looked after. It was named after Leutenant HICKS who was the first person to site this part of Australia during Captain Cooks voyage. They continued up the East coast of Australia eventually landing at the town called Seventeen Seventy. This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. Last light again, looking South from the Causeway at Victor Harbor along the Esplanade across the ocean. Quite dark and brooding but available lighting was troublesome here. Canon 400D, HDR and adapted in Photomatix 2.5. Best Viewed large.
