This is my first digital artwork, I started with a pencil sketch which I scanned in, and painted over in Adobe Photoshop CS. / I’ve had a few comments about the neck and chest being too long and the cloak is not quite ‘flowing’ enough, which I went back to fix a little, though some problems do remain. An illustration of my old OC Raphael and his water summon, Halvar. This was done as an assignment for my digital art class a term ago. If I recall correctly, in the world he’s from, he happens to be one of the chosen people who are able to summon the sleeping gods/majestic creatures and shares a close bond with them. XD; It’s been a long time so I don’t remember much about the story I made up for him.

Ok here’s one of the characters, as you can see she’s young yet her skill in archery is top ranked among her village who aids her companion in seeking out a dreaded Ice Dragon who is causing destruction within it’s path. One other thing is that she’s also a powerful summoner and a strong white magic spell user, using light based attacks and also using her healing magic. Thanks for viewing and posting comments on your POV. I enjoyed this alot. The warrior is next. Sadly not much on him but more on her.

Medium: Acrylic Paint on Acrylic Paper / Size: 12” x 16” / Description: Based on the sixth track from the Tool album 10,000 Days, Lipan Conjuring was completed in 2009 and offered a lot of creative freedom for interpretation. This piece for me was more an experimentation in using colours I rarely use; pink and blue being the said colours. In the short track on the album, I gathered a sense of ancient magic that sounded like the summoning of power. This is the sense I wanted to paint, this is what I felt. Always wanted to do fantasy. Especially a detailed piece. I am learning so much about how far my mind can stretch. I have all these ideas and now they can finally come out of my mind and onto computer so to speak. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I did creating it. Its amazing what you can learn on the net these days. / This took nine hours in cs2. / I could put a whole story on here, but I think I will let your minds create the story instead. After all, thats what art is for…..
