Right in the middle of Newtown is this huge and completely ruined building. Its been there so long and been so completely neglected for so long that the locals no longer notice it. The graceful old lines of the architecture had allowed this building to decay with style. Eventually some developer will come along and convert the site to lots of tiny apartments and all that will remain will be some funny old photos like this one. Taken with infrared film and finished off in photoshop. I love photoshop and I love infrared film. I hope that you the viewer will like to look at this small series of building photos.

I used an 80s photo which I took. The model is leant against his wall which is covered with the monochrome pages of fanzines.
Alone by the sea, Mumbai, India Alone, this girl stood out as being lost to the world. The city skyline in the background gives it the right pensive mood; overall a sense of being lost in the concrete jungle.
A man with a fierce appearance is looking straight at the viewer. His graying black hair, short beard, and blue eyes, plus a loose shirt gives him a casual appearence. We had stopped by the coffee shop on the cruise ship. While we were sipping our drinks, I looked around at our fellow customers. Across the room was this sullen fellow who looked as though he was nursing a hang-over, or may be was deserted by his girl friend. I took a series of photographs from which I developed this painting. I never knew his real name. This is from my “Sinister Man Series.” The original oil painting on canvas may be available. Visit my website: http://www.peterworsley.com for details.
