D.I.Y. is one of ‘those’ skill sets. Either you can indeed do it yourself or you best get someone else to do it! MissT has always struggled with the practical self help stuff, just looking at a car engine results in the breaking a fingernail and getting covered in oil. Her one foray into carpentry turned into an voyage of discovery as she searched for a right angle and found only wrong angles and blisters. But our girl is plucky and never one to give up. Today she’s going to hang this lovely picture she bougth from RedBubble. See her prepare… / Steel toecapped high heels just in case… check! / Protective leopard print dressing gown… check! / Identify wall… check. / Practice swing with hammer… youch! text by the talented Andrew Walker model, the luscious MissT

has the world gone completely bonkers!! I think it has,,, I have had an image up here for months,, and someone today has warned me that I might be in breach of the copyright laws..its a god dam photo of some mints,,, so this is my response to that,, and what about images I have seen with Mickey Mouse in them,,, that is a Disney character, and what I can gather Disney has the monopoly on copyright,, is anyone going to warn that artist that she may be in breach of copyright laws..(by the way, I am not angry with the person who bubblemailed me,, just pissed at the world… so I guess we need persmission to photograph anything,, watch out guys,, you may need a model release if you take a pic of a native bird, butterfly, permission to take a pic of a church, a building, a rubbish bin, a hair, a toenail, ...... anyway this is my rant for the month!!! / ps this is dedicated to Jen (Niffer) who had many great pieces of art taken off, because of this,,,, I am so glad I brought a card off her entitled Just another Face in the Crowd… it is now a collectors item!!

An Orange-Barred Sulphur, Phoebis Philea, is sipping nectar from a flower Identification: Upperside of male bright yellow-orange; forewing has red-orange bar and hindwing has red-orange outer margin. The female, much larger than the male, has two forms, one off-white and the other yellow-orange. Both have upperside of forewing with solid black cell spot and a submarginal row of broken black smudges. Early Stages: Females lay eggs singly on leaves and flowers of host plants; caterpillars prefer to feed on the flowers. Caterpillar is yellow-green with black and yellow bands on the sides. It also has white-ringed reddish spots. Habitat: Open lowland sites such as forest edges, city gardens, parks, and road edges. Interesting Facts: Males of this species have a broad orange bar on the forewing, this gives rise to its common name. Range: Lowland tropical America, Brazil, Florida and the keys, rare but seen in Northeast states. Extremely vagrant in Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Connecticut. Interesting Facts: Males of this species have a broad orange bar on the forewing, this gives rise to its common name. Cnsider these images as companions / / / / Or a T-Shirt to go along with /
