Another great article stolen from Make. A British artist made a full-scale wireframe model of a car and “installed” it outside the gallery. Over the course of a few days it even got a couple of parking tickets. Check out the picture in the article.

  • Massive Trip Coming up!

Hey All, Well Bec and I are in the process of getting together some funds to go towards a massive trip that we have planned. A brief outline of what we intend to do follows: November 28th: Fly to Perth. Stay in Perth with family for Christmas & New Years. Buy a Subaru Forester GT. During this time we intend to visit Geraldton, the Pinnacles, The Abrohles Islands, Bussleton.. basically we want to do a lot of snorkeling, maybe some diving and a lot of photography. January 4th, Leave Perth and go via the following places: Busselton, Margaret River, Denmark, Albany, Esperance, across the Nullarbor and into Adelaide. While in Adelaide we will probably stay in Goolwa (near Victor Harbor) for a few days. Then from Adelaide we will drive through the middle of NSW via Dubbo, stop for a day and visit Western Plains Zoo, then home to Brisbane via Goondiwindi. What I’m looking for is some suggestions of places to snorkle, places to take photos and things that I just “must see”. We want to visit the old telegraph house near the nullarbor, I want to get some shots of ghost towns and ruins.. some typical outback and coastal shots. Also I’m looking for wildflowers and canola and/or lavender fields. If anyone has any suggestions, tips etc on what to do or not to do.. I’d love to hear them. Also if anyone has any experience on the unsealed 4×4 track between esperance and the nullarbor, I’d love to hear from you! Regards Paul Pichugin / http://www.paulpichugin.com

AND FINALISED!!!!!!!!! If you’re in Brisbane, and you’ve had a bad experience with car sales people, go see Will Walker at Zupps Capalaba! 07 3843 8130 I will be picking up my new (Ok, demo) Subaru Impreza RX on Thursday. None of the salespeople I have spoken to offered me a hope, and none rang back when I mentioned a figure…..Will gave me the result I wanted, at a price I was happy to pay, and did it with style and skill! Thanks Will! Just as an aside, my beautiful friend Simon (aka p3rpl3x) took pity on me, and sent me a car in the mail…. Inside the box with the car was this: @Melbrackstone This car is much more your style! Will always run, as it doesn’t have an engine, price is well within your budget (you got change from $3!) is a convertible, so you can ditch the “Mum’s taxi” tag; and there is plenty of room in the boot (if you can get it open) for some camera gear! – p3rpl3x Thanks perp, you’re a doll :) So I’m wondering – New car woes The New Car Woes Stay Tuned The new car saga

In what a year that has had tremendous lows it was nice to receive my new (2nd hand) Subaru Forester XT last week. I owned a Liberty wagon before this car and have nothing but praise for Subaru and their cars, I haven’t stopped driving the new car since I got in on Wednesday. I took it up to Marysville and Lake Mountain on Saturday for a bit of a nice drive and took some pics along the way :) Enjoy On the side of the Lake Mountain Road: / A road that may or may not have been open to the public: Up the top of Lake Mountain:
