As I entered the “The Shop” for the first time, something happened. I felt like I was an 11 year old again, only quite a bit more elated to be getting coiffed. It brought me back to my childhood, all of the sights, sounds, smells and mysterious products on shelves. The only thing that was missing, I believe, were those huge red barber’s chairs, but this place is the real old school deal. It made me happy.
