This is one of the images I did for Albuquerque Magazine, which ran a special “Albuquerque After Dark” issue in October 2008. Sarah is the model and make-up artist, also one of the stylists working at Laru Ni Hati salon, where this shot was photographed. Used 2 studio strobes with umbrellas: 1 behind me to the left directed at the model, and another off to the right, bounced off ceiling and wall on left. Regular overhead biz lights were on, as well.

this just had to be created….. once again cs3 has kept me trying….... will love to here your comments on this the 4th image i have rendered from “scratch” using the cs3 program….. trying to learn the different filters, layers, pixel ratios and create work that is saleable…..... be blessed

As I entered the “The Shop” for the first time, something happened. I felt like I was an 11 year old again, only quite a bit more elated to be getting coiffed. It brought me back to my childhood, all of the sights, sounds, smells and mysterious products on shelves. The only thing that was missing, I believe, were those huge red barber’s chairs, but this place is the real old school deal. It made me happy.
