This is the first of a series of pictures I’m putting together called Stuffed Olives. There is something magical about the few short seconds before tragedy strikes I have sort to catch these rare moments in the lives of olives. This is my youngest daughter’s toy rabbit, “Spike”. She won’t go to sleep without him and she always sucks her thumb while stroking his silky washing instructions label with her forefinger. She wore the original label away and we had to sew another one on! Needless to say Spike gets very smelly and needs washing regularly!

Sometimes all you can do is bravely seek the comfort of others! I have been working on this piece for the last few days and added the finishing touches this morning after I logged on to the Bubble and read dearest Fa’s AKA frozenfa recent journal entry. At Frankston Savers, you can fill an entire plastic bag full of stuffed toys for $2.99. I let everyone pick a new little friend from it and placed the rest on my co-workers computers. How irritating for them. Still life series

A stuffed tiger in the bristol museum, this is not a future I want to see, tigers only to be seen this way. I want a future with live tigers and hope that maybe one day their numbers will be back to a managable level, for the tigers and for the humans who live beside them. This picture is being re put up on site, its one I popped up last year. I have been honored with being asked to be co host to the wonderful Tiger,Tiger group. This is to let people know a little about me and why I love tigers and that I want tigers to still be on this planet for everyone to see and wonder at. theres room enough for us all.
