An abstract piece using letter forms from a font i’ve just finished designing. The font uses straight and angled semi translucent lines that are drawn from a 12 point dot grid. Nostalgia, Flora Fountain, Mumbai, India Mumbai (Bombay, until a few years ago) is a city that has many old buildings and structures. Some of these are in a well known locality called “Flora Fountain” (recently renamed “Hutatma Chowk”). It has some very pretty old buildings (19th century British India). This picture is a coloured outline (converted from an actual photograph) of the fountain in the foreground and some of the old buildings in the background. To my mind this outline better brought out the beauty of the photograph. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
