Watch the Video Here Show me, show me, show me / How you do that trick / ‘The one that makes me scream,’ she said / ‘The one that makes me laugh,’ she said / And threw her arms around my neck / ‘Show me how you do it / And I promise you, I promise that / I’ll run away with you / I’ll run away with you…’ Spinning on that dizzy edge / I kissed her face and kissed her head / And dreamed of all the different ways / I had to make her glow / ‘Why are you so far away?’ she said / ‘Why won’t you ever know that I’m in love with you, / That I’m in love with you?’ You / Soft and only / You / Lost and lonely / You / Strange as angels / Dancing in the deepest oceans / Twisting in the water, you’re just like a dream / Just like a dream Daylight licked me into shape / I must have been asleep for days / And moving lips to breathe her name / I opened up my eyes / I found myself alone / Alone / Alone above a raging sea / That stole the only girl I loved / And drowned her deep inside of me You / Soft and only / You / Lost and lonely / You / Just like heaven The Cure
The second image in the lone fisherman series … this was taken at the very end of the campsite at Stromness on Orkney.
As soon as I saw this image.. I knew i had what I wanted, which is what I though of when taking it. I had received some ””news”, and once again, my life would take a turn.. and once again I would lift my eyes unto the Lord, and praise Him in the storm . / Praise Him in the Storm * / by *Casting Crowns I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down / and wiped our tears away, / stepped in and saved the day. / But once again, I say amen / and it’s still raining / as the thunder rolls / I barely hear You whisper through the rain, / “I’m with you” / and as Your mercy falls / I raise my hands and praise / the God who gives and takes away. Chorus: / And I’ll praise you in this storm / and I will lift my hands / for You are who You are / no matter where I am / and every tear I’ve cried / You hold in your hand / You never left my side / and though my heart is torn / I will praise You in this storm I remember when I stumbled in the wind / You heard my cry to You / and raised me up again / my strength is almost gone how can I carry on / if I can’t find You / and as the thunder rolls / I barely hear You whisper through the rain / “I’m with you” / and as Your mercy falls / I raise my hands and praise / the God who gives and takes away

Stromness wharf was not designed to handle hordes of tourists. At least the rain had stopped when this man appeared not looking too sure where he should go next. We were on the boat tied up at the wharf you can just see in the bottom of the picture so I do not know what he had in mind. On the left of the picture is someone handling what appears far too much luggage for what they can handle. I saw no attendant staff on the wharf to help passengers. / It was probably another two hours to sunrise, but it was getting lighter. / Taken with Pentax LX camera on High Speed Ektachrome Experimental ASA 3200

This is the December image for my 2010 Soulscapes calendar. The beetle is a red lily beetle and details can be seen on my blog> I have used lots of my own textures and patterns (including the wallflower pattern and a new feather pattern), some of them photographs taken in Cambridgeshire (Lode and Reach).
