This is a stretch of the Montgomery canal, it used to be part of the textile business, transporting goods to the major cities. Today it has fallen quiet, except for the abundant wildlife …... plans are afoot to reopen it, to boost tourism ....... its a fabulous place for walking, I did a 14 mile hike along it recently, from Welshpool to Newtown ….. I’m using some early 1800s French fashion plates I have to make t-shirt designs. They are original old hand painted images which should be framed and protected. But before I do that I want to bring them into the 21st century…on a t-shirt. I will do a few in this series. Stay tuned.
