part of the vibration series. ( see pulse in works not for sale) this one is a bit more contrasty for the web-more subtle in real life. Most people see a variety of things-natural kinda things. Originally inspired by the Brahma Kumaris ‘point of light’, it is a progression from there, after doing a 10 day silence retreat. The aim was to feel every cell and vibration in your body. By becoming more connected to your own physical body, and really knowing yourself in the process( where ever you ‘block’ your feelings, you become numb) you are more relaxed. calm and connected with the world. The result is a better life for yourself, and the the people you share the world with.

Funky Cats is one i did a while ago when my focus was on the animal kingdom, this was in response to the Cheshire Cat from Alice…...he always intrigued me that fellow…...can you see his smile? These cats are from the ‘Friends Series’ by Karin Taylor…..Funky Cats is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper incorporating the use of ink, pastel, acrylics and charcoal….simultaneously :) My father has created a Chesire Cat smile in his garden which is strung in between two trees…..he also has made sculptures such as the Tin Man and many others in his garden of bits n pieces he finds at the Garbage Dump…...a man of many talents, he plants bonsai trees in white ceramic toilet bowls to display as works of art in his garden

This was taken at Hunstanton Nr Norfolk England UK a dead calm before a storm…...... There are two sides to Hunstanton, There is the elegant old Victorian town with its Esplanade Gardens and rather sedate air of days-gone-by, when people flocked to take the water ‘for medicinal purposes’. Then there is the lively, buzzing family resort, with donuts and candy floss, ice cream and donkey rides and a whole funfair of amusements to keep you entertained! Hunstanton boasts famous stripy cliffs and a fabulous beach, which has a Good Beach Award for safety and cleanliness. You can walk from one resort to the other, so you can enjoy a morning of fun and activity at the crazy golf or Sea Life Sanctuary and then spend a lazy afternoon lying on the beach beneath the rambling sand dunes. If exhilarating outdoor sports are more your kind of thing, the sea provides a vast playground for sailing, jet skiing and windsurfing, with Hunstanton offering excellent wind conditions for this popular sport.
