Meg had fun posing, and Nanna had fun with the processing! Created with two photos and a few layers. Extracted the background from the legs, desaturated the colours, overlaid a photo of a texture and blended the background image through. Plains zebra. Taken in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. We came across a huge herd of zebra grazing in the tall grasses down in the crater. We were just surrounded by black and white stripes! March 2007.

Here is the killer of my little friend “stripey”, caught in the act, red handed!! There is obviously no love in the jumping spider species world, and competition for food is top priority. This one a female Green Jumping Spider, much like the other I photographed on the same day. This one was smaller than the other Green Jumper however, at about 5mm in length. The poor little spider in it’s mouth I shot earlier Click Here to view that shot.. Mt Cootha botanical gardens, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Canon 5D Mk II, 65mm, 4x.
