I was talking to the tiger saying, “What a pretty tiger, you just want to play, and where’s your toy?! So the tiger gleamed at me and rolled over. I shot continuosly and got some great shots.
This was another shot while the tiger rolled over playfully after I spoke to it like a dog. “Where’s your toy? You just want to play! What a pretty tiger!”

Long lenses, ditches and fences are all good in my opinion. I couldn’t care less about flattening perspective; not when this tiger seemed intent on flattening something else all together. Taken at the Royal Melbourne Zoo 30/6/2008, whilst on a grand adventure with Sadandal,CircuitDruid, ragnarok-leaves-none and the ever scintillating Mr P.
