Danny ♥ Danny..for as long as I have been on redbubble, you have been a great character, writer and designer as well as being the ‘Elvis’ of one on ones. / My all time fav would have to be the ‘Stringer’ interview :D Who has been your favorite redbubbler to interview and why? My favourite interview wasn’t an interview but a made up story about Lucan Industries. / But If I have to pick one it was the Stringer interview (which I’m putting back up in a couple of days for the re released Gonzo stories) / Mr Stringer helped me with location descriptions, some of his haunts and also provided the photos. I discovered all his awards and accolades with my own research. / He signed off on it but never made a comment on the actual story. The redbubble heirachy has a red dot next to their names, you have a brown splot. Please explain? Simple: I asked for one. / It goes back to the early days and a guy called Dave who’s no longer at the Bub and I was doing interviews and everyone had Red Bubbles but I wanted to have a different one and….well they gave in. It was that or I was going to do my name in Russian characters. A redbubble day you will never forget? There have been numerous (I’ve been very lucky on Red Bubble) / I can mention the day I got kicked off and the support I got was over whelming. / My day I discovered RB was pretty special. / but I believe the best is yet to come. / The project I’m working on at the moment with some other guys is shaping up to be that moment. (when it’s released/announced) / It’ is THAT exciting. An artist or writer you would like to pimp? Ahh….. I got heaps. / Some don’t need it while others would love it. But the two people I think will be the first Red Bubble inspired superstars will probably be Michael Alesich and Jessica Tremp. They both excel at everything. / Their writing is a bit different and usually swings away from the usual stuff that dominates this site, they model, they photograph ,they design and most importantly create themes and evolve. / If anyone deserves fame I reckon it’s these guys. / That may come as a big surprise to a lot of people but I’m always observing. / As a side note I would like to place Anne Van Alkermade on a pedestal because she has been insulted and pushed around trying to do her best and her best is all she offers and that has been evident in her work with the Phoenix Project and now the pending release of her book Haunting Emma. / I hope she sells a trillion. (also as revenge to some small minded people) Relaxation….what is your pleasure? I don’t relax. I fidget and fidgeting helps me think, when I think I’m active. I have a compass in one hand and a sombrero in the other. I’m offering you one of them. Which would you choose and why? A compass so I can find a way to get my head out of the clouds (or my arse as I can hear people shout) How would you mediate an argument between John Howard and Kevin Rudd? Pistols at 10 paces Something you have always wanted to do…but probably won’t? Thank Dad for the job he did raising our family . You always realise way too late. / Every thing else is achievable eventually. Do you remember your Primary school teacher? Yes , I went to a Catholic Primary School run by Presentation Nuns called St Mary Magdalens. / One of my teachers was a Nun; Sister Amelda. / She was a strict disciplinarian who had a no nonsense approach to education. / She had absolutely no impact on my life what so ever. The name of a song you remember from your childhood? This is what I wrote the first time in Nov 2007 (i think) / The long awaited Red Bubble Profile on Ivan Stringer / This story incorporates many facts about Stringer / Stringer has been more than generous in his answers, time and photos he has supplied for this story It was by far the most popular because at that stage STRINGER was bigger than Texas (still is as far as I’m concerned) but he doesn’t hang around much these days with the exception of the odd guerrilla attack . / This also got attacked by a group of fuck wits who thought they were the new “in crowd” and thought they dictated what was “right”. I was criticized for doing a profile on someone popular. / The fact that no one EVER turned down a profile (including the head fuckwit who lead the assault) and everyone I profiled assisted in the process, ironically STRINGER more than anyone else. / It made me stop doing GONZO pieces with the exception of the last one that tied all the writing pieces together.Tell a friend / Enjoy.
