This is not your average craft market, rather a real market in the sense that it is the community that shops here, the tourists seldom hear about it or go.
A marked difference in markets between the North and South Island of New Zealand is the lack of cultural colour. Nelson is very conservative and white.

I love the challenge of street photography – seeing something in everyday things we would normally walk by. Its also a way I find to take my mind of my “day job” and use the other side of my brain.
