FUSIONartPHOTOGRAPHY.com Feature artist for the GROUP:EXPERIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY and EDITING. This creation is about my return to Melbourne after eight exciting and event filled years living in Japan and China . Regular trips home to see family and friends had not really prepared me for that emotional roller coaster ride that many experience after the conclusion of an overseas assignment. / Initially, when living in countries where the language is foreign ,one delves deep inside oneself and adjusts by becoming more observant to compensate. The experience is beyond description. / Upon returning home ones’ city has become a mystery. Eye contact/ a smile meant so very much in the re-adjustment period as after such a long period away ,one really belongs nowhere and maybe the heart will always now remain in 3 places and so we have “Mysterious Melbourne” / “ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” / Essence of Ancient Wisdom/ Asia

I’m so tired, my mind is on the blink. / This scene stopped me in my tracks. Were they homless? Were they dead? They couldn’t be dead. They weren’t moving. It was so touching, they’d obviously biked in from out of town and feel asleep where they sat, son on his fathers lap.
Copacabana , Bolivia ! This picture was taken minutes after I took several shots of two old men sitting on the same step while I was resting a bit. Sometime interesting things comes around… /

A slight reworking of an old pic, uploaded by request for my good friend, Tony Hedger. / When I last had this on, Tony wrote a good story to accompany the shot, and if you have never read any of Tony’s story’s, you don’t know what you are missing. / To see the story Tony wrote for this shot, Click Here. The picture is of Albert Street in Dawlish, which is the last Cobblestone street in the town. / Shot in colour, and converted to B&W, which gives it more character. On a geography assignment in an informal settlement, I stumbled upon these children. The photojournalist in me inspired me to take this shot. What I love most about this is their varied and contrasting expressions.
Pitt Street looking south towards Park Street. A little bit of info: / Pitt Street is Australia’s second biggest street located in the central business district of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Pitt St is famous for being home to the Pitt St Mall district, which begins at the intersection of Pitt St and Market St. Pitt St Mall is the most expensive street in Australia and 7th most expensive street in the whole world. Australia’s biggest retailer, Westfields will begin construction of a shopping centre on Pitt St Mall, a first of its kind in an Australian CBD. A story from Cambodia: I met the girl in the red pyjamas on a hot day in one of Angkor’s busy temples. Although we ended up spending a nice amount of time getting to know each other, this photo was taken before she’d seen me sitting across the hallway. Her mother was busy selling incense to the tourists in a hurry to get through and see the sights- and the girl in red pyjamas sat still and well behaved. What happened next is here
